Education Committee

Chair: Billie Sell

  • Initiate and plan education programs offered by the I-CAPP.
  • Increase membership value through member-only educational offerings.
  • Oversee the Pittman Course.
  • Offer programs and special educational opportunities directed toward improving professional qualifications.
  • Publish research relevant to critical care transport.

Membership Committee

Chair: Dusty Ross

  • Develop member surveys.
  • Develop high-quality membership programs focusing on clinical education, career advancement, and advocacy.
  • Increase new member registrations and retention.
  • Improve member communication through a 12-month/12-touch communication plan.
  • Define brand value.
  • Improve member engagement.

Safety Committee

Chair: OPEN POSITION

  • Establish a member-based committee engaged in the safety practices of the industry.
  • Conduct quarterly meetings.
  • Monitor industry accidents, incidents, and near misses, looking for reportable trends.
  • Make written recommendations on behalf of the I-CAPP Board of Directors and the Safety Committee.
  • Develop I-CAPP recommended safety “best practices” for use by all members.

Research Committee

Chair: David Olvera

  • Conduct research projects for the purpose of improving patient outcomes.
  • Encourage members to contribute to Elevate and CCTMC Scientific Forums.
  • Promote the Air Medical Journal as a platform to publish articles and research work.

Government & Legislative Affairs Committee (GLAC)

Chair: Christopher Hall

  • Review relevant U.S. federal policy issues/initiatives and provide recommendations to the Board of Directors.
  • Review relevant U.S. state policy issues/initiatives and provide recommendations to the Board of Directors.
  • Review relevant healthcare and medical transport initiatives and provide recommendations to the Board of Directors.
  • Serve as a resource for international members in matters of government affairs as directed by the Board of Directors.
